Galapagos National Park Entry Fee Increase

Effective August 1, 2024, the Galapagos National Park entry fee will be increasing from $100US to $200US for anyone comign to the islands for a Galapagos land tour or Galapagos cruise.

An increase to this fee has been rumored for many years, and this is the first increase in more than 25 years.

This money collected by the National Park goes towards supporting the local communities and conservation across the islands.

Visitors from most South American countries that currently pay $50US will see the price increase for them to $100US, while there will also be a price increase Ecuadorian nationals to $30US per person.

Visitors under 2 years old can enter the Galapagos for free, while reduced fees are available for any visitors 2-12 years old or 65 or older.

Compared to many other wildlife-famous destinations this entry fee is still very affordable, and Galakiwi is happy to see more funds go towards the continued conservation and community efforts of the Galapagos National Park.
