Lisbeth has lived her whole life in the Galápagos, and for the past seven years Galakiwi has been much more than a workplace, it’s become a second family. What she treasures most about life here is the daily reminder of what’s essential: natural beauty, respect for the environment, and the peace that comes with simplicity.

In her time with Galakiwi, Lisbeth has taken on a variety of roles and stepped in to support operations whenever needed. Today, as Finance & Administration Coordinator, she makes sure things run smoothly behind the scenes, keeping the details organized so the team and guests can focus on enjoying their adventures. She loves knowing that her work contributes to the bigger picture of supporting both the Galakiwi family and the islands she calls home.

Lisbeth often says she came to Galakiwi for work, but stayed for love, the love of the sea, the peace of the islands, and the energy of the community. 

Playa Baquerizo is her special place on San Cristóbal, where she finds peace and reflection.

Her favorite animal? The sea turtle, admired for its strength, quiet presence, and connection to what is natural and essential.
