Galakiwi Joins the SEE Turtles Sustainable Travel Auction to Support Sea Turtle Conservation
This content is available in English only
The SEE Turtles Foundation has launched its third annual Sustainable Travel Auction, inviting travelers to bid on unforgettable experiences that directly support sea turtle conservation around the world.
Funds raised from the auction go toward impactful initiatives like Too Rare To Wear, which partners with the tourism industry to stop the illegal trade of tortoiseshell products, and Sea Turtles & Plastic, a program helping coastal communities reduce plastic waste through cleanups and recycling efforts. Each trip up for auction contributes to protecting sea turtles from threats like trafficking and pollution.
Our Contribution: A 10-Day Galápagos Adventure
To support this important initiative, we’ve donated one of our signature 10-day Galápagos tours, a land-based journey designed for travelers who want to experience the islands up close and responsibly.
From hiking across volcanic landscapes to snorkeling with sea lions, rays, and sea turtles, this itinerary showcases the wildlife, culture, and community spirit that make the Galápagos unlike anywhere else. Across four inhabited islands, you’ll kayak through turquoise waters, meet blue-footed boobies and marine iguanas, and learn how conservation is woven into everyday life here.
How to Get Involved
Bidding is open until November 19th, and every trip featured in this auction helps fund vital sea turtle conservation efforts, including our own Galápagos adventure.
This year’s auction also includes inspiring experiences in Cuba, Costa Rica, Camp Cecil de la Isla in Baja, and the Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort in Sri Lanka.
