Introducing Our New 8-Day Galápagos Land Adventure
This content is available in English only
We’re excited to share something we’ve added to our tours: an 8-day, land-based Galápagos journey designed for travelers who want to experience the islands actively, thoughtfully, and in close connection with local life.
This itinerary combines iconic wildlife encounters, volcanic landscapes, and meaningful cultural moments, all while staying on the islands and traveling at a pace that allows you to truly experience each place.
Four Islands, Eight Days, and an All-Inclusive Adventure
This new tour explores three inhabited islands, San Cristóbal, Isabela, and Santa Cruz, plus a full day in the uninhabited North Seymour. Each island showcases its own distinct character and ecosystem.
You’ll travel between islands by speedboat, hike coastal trails and volcanic highlands, paddle through calm bays by kayak, and snorkel at some of the most celebrated sites in the archipelago.
Wildlife Encounters That Define the Galápagos
The Galápagos is a very special place for wildlife encounters. From day one, this journey is shaped by close encounters with wildlife, always guided, respectful, and in line with conservation standards.
Highlights include:
- Snorkeling at Kicker Rock, Los Túneles, and North Seymour, swimming alongside sea turtles, reef sharks, rays, and curious sea lions
- Visiting giant tortoises in their natural habitat and learning about ongoing breeding and conservation efforts
- Spotting marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, and other endemic species along coastal trails and mangrove-lined shores
Volcanic Landscapes and Active Exploration
The Galápagos is shaped by fire as much as by water. On this itinerary, you’ll explore that story on foot.
You’ll hike through:
- The sulfur vents of Minas de Azufre
- Coastal paths like La Lobería
- The dramatic terrain of Sierra Negra Volcano on Isabela Island
Each walk reveals a different chapter of the islands’ geological history, guided by locals who know these landscapes intimately.
Life on the Islands, Beyond the Wildlife
This tour also focuses on the human side of the Galápagos. Along the way, you’ll gain insight into how people live here, protect this place, and coexist with one of the world’s most fragile ecosystems.
A Balanced Galápagos Experience
This 8-day adventure blends soft adventure (hiking, kayaking, snorkeling), wildlife observation, cultural connection, and sustainability-focused travel.
It’s ideal for travelers who want more than sightseeing, those who want to move, learn, and engage with the Galápagos in a meaningful way.
