Becoming part of the Galakiwi team is like becoming a family member. Each member is so giving, friendly, and selfless. Good-natured people you would want to spend everyday for three months with. Galakiwi shapes the internship to you, just like your family they want you to follow your dreams and get the most out of the experience.

For me, an aspiring wildlife filmmaker, they let me go out and film videos for them. Making it relevant for Galakiwi as well as helping with my future goals. It didn’t hurt that I was able to explore the most diverse islands in the world.

Everyday is different in this internship. From updating paperwork to working with passengers and even swimming with sharks; there is never a dull moment. The days are long but go by so fast because you are having the time of your life. If you work hard this internship can open ANY door for you.

It has become the centerpiece of my resume and now years later is still present in my everyday lifestyle. Be ready to give this internship everything you have, I did and it has given me more in return than I could of ever imagined.
